BEGINNERS
Welcome to the smooth side of modern jive. Come and smooth out your modern jive moves and take yourself on a journey from the rough to the smooth whilst developing your repertoire at a different pace. This dance genre will allow you to be expressive and stylised in your movement whilst you enjoy some beautiful smooth music tracks. Smooth Jive is easy to learn and the classes and freestyles offer you a social night with great music and laughter.
INTERMEDIATES
Stepping up a gear, our intermediate class will develop the moves from the beginners session by adding a level of complexity to your repertoire whilst still maintaining stylised linear movement
Guaranteed to make you smile and a great way to keep fit in a friendly social environment.

MEET YOUR HOST
I have been running Enerjive Smooth lessons in Bordon on a Monday night for the past 10 years with a great crew behind me who assist with lessons and admin.
At 8 pm we run a beginner level class of 45 minutes with 10 minutes practice time followed by an intermediate level class of 45 minutes followed by practice time and freestyle dancing until 11 pm.
We also run monthly freestyles on the last Friday of the month from 8pm until midnight and every 4 months we run a Sublime event on a Saturday night where you will enjoy an evening of eclectic chilled dance music. These nights are very popular.
You will also find me as a guest DJ at various venues in the South East and at MJ Roc weekenders where the smooth jive room is enjoyed by many dancers who love this genre of music. If you are learning, or are a West Coast Swing or Blues dancer, you will love these events too.
